Baa Baa... Sheep! A day at the Farm

When Freedom's co op went to a sheep farm in Hendersonville last friday, Eden and I just had to tag along. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time seeing where wool comes from, feeding farm animals, and taking advantage of the awesome tire swing. We had a picnic, and the farmer let each child pick out some wool roving to bring home. Ah, farm life is so nice...

Easter! Spring Greetings!

Look what the Easter Bunny left for the kiddies! Books, handmade bunnies, wood toys, and of course, chocolate bunnies! Lucky Kiddos!

He must have been impressed by the beautiful eggs the kids decorated for him! I know I was!

We had a lovely simple Easter together!

Freedom at the Playground

One day, just Freedom and I went to the playground.

Spring Nature Table

We started our first spring nature table! We've already added and taken away many spring flowers, rocks, and spring themed beings, candles, books.. it keeps changing!!

My needlefelters

The kids started needlefelting. I give them cookie cutters to use, which helps the needles stay away from fingers! We talked about how we always keep our needles in the foam work pad whenever we aren't using them. Freedom has decided to donate his to his new waldorf co op for their table at the upcoming Mayfaire. Eden really likes needlefelting and has already made a few things. She's becoming quite crafty!
